Dr. Larinda J. King is a pastor, author, speaker, multimedia specialist, and broadcaster for both T.V. and radio.  Larinda is a graduate of Savannah State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications with a concentration in T.V. and Radio. While attending Savannah State, she founded Commissioned to Love Campus Ministry, a Christian based support group for young college students who desired to serve God in their youth. The ministry, founded in 2003, served God through the arts to promote the message of The Gospel.  As the group flourished, Dr. Larinda founded End Time Commission, where she now serves as the senior pastor alongside her husband, Christopher King.  In addition to establishing her ministry, she has birthed several diverse kingdom businesses, including Flight of Promise Media Group, Legacy Living LLC, and Heirloom Publishing, to name a few.  

After completing her undergraduate work, she went on to pursue her Master of Arts degree in Multimedia Communications at the Academy of Arts University in San Francisco, California. She also received her Doctor of Ministry from South University in Savannah, Georgia.

 

It was through this matriculation that she felt compelled to birth Flight of Promise Media group, a multimedia umbrella that serves as a hub for various media outlets like the Force Radio, FOP TV, and Heirloom Publishing. The company also mentors the youth of Savannah, in the Arts, specifically multi-media, to help groom the next generation of creatives and professionals.  Dr. Larinda is also the visionary and Executive Director of Remnant Kingship Academy, an arts based Christian private school in the heart of Savannah, Georgia.

For the 2021-2022 year, Dr. Larinda was a nominee for Savannah's Best in two categories: Best Radio Personality and Best Local Influencer.  In 2022, Dr. Larinda was named South University's Alumni of the Year.

She started her Mary Kay Business in October 2018 and was hailed Queen of Feel the Power in February 2019.  In March 2019, she simultaneously debuted as an Independent Sales Director and earned the use of her first Career Car (Malibu) by April 2019, and a prestigious Pink Cadillac Earner by June of 2019 where she received her Cadillac in Dallas,TX at Mary Kay Corporate office in a surprise presentation for her unit.   She was the top Director in her NSD class achieving On The Move , Fabulous 50 , Honor Society , Triple Crown ,and Deans list . In the same year, lDr. Larinda received top ranks in the 2019 Seminar Court of Sales and Seminar Court of Sharing. She operates out of her own studio and training center, LaCrown Beautique, located in the heart of Savannah, and as of 2022 debuted another studio in Augusta, GA. Dr. Larinda finished the 2019/2020 Seminar year with Triple Crown honors achieving the $800,000 Circle of Excellence and the Prestigious Top Directors Trip in her first year.

In her second full year as a director, she debuted 11 first line directors, and 2 second line directors. She achieved the unit building challenge in 3 months, and top trip in 6 months, earning the fabulous trip to Spain. She is a Triple Star Achiever, and by March of 2021, she and her unit finished the Million Dollar Circle of EXCELLENCE, and hailed as the Number 1 Queen in Mary Kay U.S. with over 1.5 Million in unit sales. In 2022, she achieved yet another Million Dollar Circle of Excellence, and debuted as #2 in the Sapphire Division. In 2022, Dr. Larinda was awarded the October Monthly Go-Give Award, one of Mary Kay’s most prestigious accomplishments. She concluded the 2023 year with another Million Dollar Circle of Excellence.

She is a 4 time Triple Star Achiever, and has earned the use of 4 career cars, 3 of which are the Pink Cadillac. She hailed as the number one sales director in the state of Georgia for the 2023 Seminar Year. Her highest commission check to date is over $50,000 in one month! Last but certainly not least, Larinda is servant leader of the fabulous La Embassy Unit in Savannah, Ga.
